Description

The collection of tables Opera by Mario Bellini, presented last year by Meritalia, has grown – with new sizes and functions, besides new materials – on occasion of the Salone del Mobile 2015.
On the side of round and oval tables we now find square and rectangular tables. Many among this range will be available also as a low table, which will be a near sofas and armchairs.
New tables that, as a matter of fact, develop and at the same time maintain the original “hull-shaped” drawing, obtained from multiple joints of arch-cut centrings made of solid wood.
A Opera (masterpiece) of cabinet-making at first sight, but actually cabinet-making of the digital era.
The result of a computerized design and work of C.A.D. / C.A.M. (computer added design / computer added machined) that looks to the future, yet remaining firmly rooted in history.
