Description

The exhibition features the most important pieces of furniture, machines and objects designed by Mario Bellini up to that time.

Bellini is also asked to design the exhibition space (a privilege previously given by the MoMA only to Ray and Charles Eames). A diagonal path under a “portico” that faces out onto the 40th – where the autograph sketches are placed – connects all the points of the exhibition, with spaces and platforms that radiate circularly from a shared point of origin, hosting a selection of his already vast production.
